The Maltese picnic

The Maltese picnic is the exact antithesis of "the perfect meal in an idyllic location". The best phrase to describe the Maltese picnic is "Everything but the kitchen sink". It usually consists of an extension of someone’s kitchen, living and dining room neatly combined into 40sqm of outdoor space, shaded by trees and most importantly, easily accessible by car. Paraphernalia includes generators, full size gas cylinders, bbqs, a wide range of picnic coolers, a good supply of folding chairs, deck chairs, portable tables, lights incase it gets dark and occasionally some loud speakers. Oh you gotta love the Maltese picnic.
