Your call is being transferred

This is how it goes: You call to report a problem and in a jiffy, a friendly support agent is at your service. You take a deep breath and give a 5 minute, detailed explanation of your problem, down to the exact time, date and other technicalities. The agent listens quietly, but at the end of your prologue, he just replies “Hold the line, I’ll hook you up with a technician”. At that stage, you hear the notorious canned message: “your call is being transferred...”

Defeatedly, you put your phone on speaker. You feel enraged but you already committed enough time not to give up, so you decide to wait. Then, after a solid 35 minutes on hold, the worst is yet to come, when the technician is on the line and politely asks you "how can I help please?". You now have to take a deeper breath and like an idiot, start all over again.
