At the Pet Shop
If I hadn’t personally witnessed this sketch some years ago, I wouldn’t be able to conceive it today as a fictional one. So to cut a long story short, I was waiting in line to be served at a local pet shop, when a customer requested a rabbit. Now, if this was any other pet shop, in any other country, you would have expected the sales guy to come back with a bunch of little cute bunnies ready to be cuddled, but this is Malta, so the sales guy came back with a cold Tupperware box and said “2Kg, €10, cut and ready to be cooked.”
