The struggle is very real
Try to push someone on a wheelchair around a Maltese village and you will realise that your annoying inability to fully open your car door in a tight parking space is a first world problem when compared to the countless hurdles a wheelchair-bound person has to face. Lack of ramps, planters, bollards, abusive signs, street signs and feast poles blocking broken pavements. There is nothing to be done, however, because local councils are busy raking in the money from the latest dining platform.
