V.R.T

The V.R.T or Vehicle Road Worthiness Test is designed to periodically examine some important safety aspects of your vehicle to make sure you don't kill yourself or other people while driving it and also that they meet national and EU legal requirements. Among the items tested are: Seat belts, brakes, lights, tyres, steering wheel, and last but not least, emissions. On paper all sounds good, but recent news like the dangerously high levels of pollution which baffled experts, makes you think twice. The experts said this is not caused by traffic emissions (?), but maybe they should still ask Transport Malta to investigate why most V.R.T tests fail because of misaligned headlights as opposed to ubnormally high levels of emissions. Don't these experts ask questions whenever they are driving behind a trail of deadly black smoke? Just Saying.
